The System and Procedure
The CRT system consists of a contact temperature probe and a computer for data display and analysis. It measures the body's physiological response to temperature stress after disrobement in a temperature-controlled room.
Procedure: The patient progressively disrobes while 119 temperature measurements are taken. The patient then waits 10 minutes disrobed; after this cooling stimulus, the 119 measurements are repeated. The procedure is non-invasive, uses no radiation, and takes roughly 30 minutes.
Legend convention: Odd numbers = right side; even numbers = left side.

Point Legend — Breast & Teeth
- Breast outer circle (A, A1, B, B1, C, C1, D, D1): start near the armpit at 10:30, move counter-clockwise for the right breast, clockwise for the left.
- Breast inner circle (a, b, c, d): a square at 2, 4, 8, 10 o'clock.
- E: nipple / center of breast.
- Teeth: 11–18 upper right; 21–28 upper left; 31–38 lower right; 41–48 lower left — 8 points per quadrant.

Normal response: head & thyroid warm ~0.3 °C; other regions cool 0.5–1.0 °C.
Reading the Reaction Profile
Summaries group areas 1–6 (head, neck, back, chest, abdomen), 7–10 (dental), 11–12 (breasts). %Paradox + %Rigid > 35% indicates a blocked region. Temperature A/B: first and second measurements. SD: ◊ none; yellow arrow significant (0.3–0.7 °C); red arrow high (>0.7 °C). T-Tot: average. RI: >3.5 high metabolic activity/inflammation; <1.5 chronic low activity.
The Indices
Chaos Index (CI): 0–2 healthy, 2–4 borderline, 4+ unhealthy. CI-A at rest; CI-B after stress.
Vitality Index (VI): >3.8 excessively high; 2.5–3.8 normal; 2.0–2.5 low; <2.0 very low.
Enteropathy Index (ENI): 0–2 normal; 2–4 borderline; 4–6 dysbiosis.
Lymphatic Index (LI): 0–2 normal; 2–4 reduced; 4–6 blocked.
Therapy Index (ThI): 7–11 normal; 12–16 caution; 16–21 inadvisable.
